RYAN SINGLETON

Originally from Portsmouth, Rhode Island, Ryan moved to St. Petersburg to attend Eckerd College.  After college, Ryan was employed by several large law firms in the Tampa Bay area. He enrolled at Stetson University College of Law in 2002.  During his time at Stetson, Ryan was an honor roll student and Stetson Student Ambassador.

Ryan is licensed to practice in all Florida State Courts and in the United States District Court in the Middle District of Florida.  He is Board Certified as a Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney by the American Board of Certification, which means that Ryan adheres to strict continuing legal education requirements, completed a comprehensive peer review from fellow practitioners and adverse counsel, and has passed a rigorous examination that demonstrated his knowledge and mastery of bankruptcy law. 

 

Ryan is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), an organization that protects and enhances the rights of consumer bankruptcy debtors by getting involved in legislative efforts to change the Bankruptcy Code.

Ryan regularly attends NACBA conferences that keep practitioners informed on the latest trends, guidelines and changes in the industry. 
 
Ryan was a member of the Leadership St. Pete, Class of 2012 and he has volunteered for the YWCA of Tampa Bay, NAACP, and the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary.
